Bio

I grew up in the Seattle area when good lacrosse coaches were hard to come by. I was fortunate enough to get coaches that were invested in improving their players. However, I was still late in terms of receiving that coaching. It wasn't till my sophomore year of highschool I learned to consistently pass and catch. I learned to shoot after my junior year of highschool. I even learned to face off over the summer leading up to my senior year. I was noticed as a defensive midfielder that can take face-offs and was recruited to play at D3 Oberlin College. I continued to improve as a player and had a good 4 years capping them off as a captain my senior year. I graduated with a degree in physics. I applied my physics knowledge and problem solving skills to my athletics. This analytical thinking helped me continue on to play for the Japanese National Team in the 2018 World Championships and then with the Denver Outlaws in 2019.

Most of what I know I have learned through countless hours of experimentation. The rest is from the amazing lacrosse minds I have met. I apply this mindset and knowledge base to best serve each player I coach. The player needs more than just what they should do. They need to know why or else they risk using the right strategy or technique at the wrong time, making it incorrect. My goal is for the players to be able to self coach and analyze themselves and their opponents. Each session I will not only share what I do, but also how I think.
